Nour Halabi

she/her

Draws plants that are having a rough week.

Nour carves her drawings into lino blocks at a kitchen table that has permanent ink stains on it. She likes faces on things that should not have faces.

Her work is about small, unglamorous feelings: the tired plant, the over-watered plant, the plant that is fine, honestly.

Works with

Lino blocks, a very old brayer, oil-based ink
